The Night before the night I leave for Culinary Command

I am baking cookies for my roller derby team,
I baked pecan pies for my hubby, mother, and father in law.
I baked brownie cupcakes with reeses peanut butter buttercream icing.
I ran like a million errands in the last three days, and I was in Washington Dc for almost a week before this.
Life has been going at a snails pace but at lightening speed at the time!!
Tomorrow I go see my son in Blairsville, GA, then do two PR events with my derby, then to bed at my mom's house.
I wake up Sunday morning and eat breakfast with my mom and dad and then my hubby takes me to the airport.
I have spent my life cooking to help those I love enjoy a special day in their lives, to help feed the homeless, or make a birthday special for anyone I know.
I set this dream aside for so long because I had 4 kids and became a busy busy mom chasing after ADHD boys, going to college, working multiple jobs, and volunteering and coaching soccer for years. I completely forgot my dream of becoming a chef.
Things come in their own time, but it is meant to be it will be!!!
I am living proof of that.
Never give up on your dreams!!
Write them down, look back on them, and never forget them!!

I dedicate this blog to Olivia Madlock who I have watched grow up, and who I have grown up with in many ways, who has always pushed and pulled me into the person I was meant to me. Seeing things with an open mind and in many directions!!
I dedicate it to you especially since it was you who reminded me to follow my dreams, and to become my true self and put me on the this path by learning to be enlightened yourself.

We are connected always to everyone and our job is to make the world a better place.
